Welcome to the Coldest Place on Earth

SEEQC’s goal is to develop the first commercial digital quantum computing platform. We call it the Digital Quantum Management (DQM) System-on-a-Chip. This system lets us manage delicate quantum states with robust digital logic and ultra-fast classical compute power – all in a single processor. Simply stated, the DQM System-on-a-Chip binds the quantum hardware with quantum algorithms and applications. By integrating critical management functions on a chip it allows us to scale the technology and increase cost-effectiveness, enabling new functionalities in quantum computing.

We have taken all the fun out of working with cables.

SEEQC’s patented Single Flux Quantum (SFQuClass) processors aim to perform digital qubit control, readout and classical data processing functions, and function as a platform for error correction. They are proximally co-located and integrated with qubit chips in a cryo-cooled environment to drastically reduce the complexity of input/output connections and maximize the benefits of fast, precise, low-noise digital control and readout, and energy-efficient classical co-processing. The technology has the potential to work across multiple quantum hardware designs as well as across multiple superconducting qubits.

We have the power to design and manufacture complex chip-level systems

SEEQC owns and operates a multi-layer superconductive electronics chip fabrication facility, enabling us to continuously improve and rigorously test our SFQ and SFQuClass chips. The foundry also provides the specialized equipment and processes to fabricate application-specific circuits and combine them with our DQM System-on-a-Chip and qubit hardware to create 3D multi-chip systems.

When two worlds become complementary… the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

In order to extract the greatest value, quantum and high-speed classical computing must work together. The challenge is not just to figure out how to make these two worlds co-exist, but how to make them thrive as one so that previously intractable high value problems can be overcome. SEEQC’s innovation lies in its approach to developing a true hybrid quantum-classical computer to meet this challenge.

To build a cost-effective and commercially scalable system that integrates quantum and classical computing, SEEQC applies patented or patent pending innovation in four core areas:

  • Digital Quantum Management (DQM) System-on-a-Chip™
  • Integrated Application Specific Circuits
  • Hybrid Quantum-Classical Computing
  • Fabrication of Multi-Layer 3D Chips
